Bluelou is a nationally and internationally published cartoonist and artist. Award wining (British council) and critical acclaimed for her exhibitions, her cartoon and fine art fusion have entertained in there controversy and reveled in deadly seriousness of political absurdity. She met her first MP (And Cabinet minster) at a funeral when she was 13, and was fascinated by the audacity of the Savel row encased public school boy she was serving strong Irish tea to. He was the same person that made the phone click. A likeness started turning up in Biro on the front of her school books. She prefers to be refers to as coming from the 'Spitting image generation' rather then a 'Thatchers child'. Her cartoons have been described as 'Intelligent' by Steve Bell of the Guardian and and has been called a bitch by both Steve Bell and Dave Brown of the independent, She once smoked a drawing by Dave Brown on a fag paper he especially drew for that propose, She was told to go and draw 'nice things instead' by Simon Beasley the renowned 2000AD cartoonist and advised by a very famous and middle aged cartoonist form South Africa to give up because, 'women can't draw political cartoons as they don't have the killer instinct' and besides 'the school run would get in the way'.
